Anyone applying the four-pillar framing outside work — coaching, parenting, anything?

I've started noticing the framework leaking into how I think about non-work decisions. Coached my kid through a chess tournament last weekend and caught myself running Calibration and Resilience reads on her between games. It actually helped — separating "did she pick a good plan" from "did the plan work" let us have a much more useful debrief than "how do you feel about the game?" Curious whether anyone else has been applying the pillars in coaching, parenting, or other non-professional decision contexts.

Composer-to-PM background here. I use the pillars for creative-work debriefs constantly now. "Was the choice right but the execution off" vs "was the choice wrong" is one of the most useful splits I've ever internalized, and it generalizes well beyond engineering work.

11th-grade teacher. Started using a stripped-down version of the framework with seniors deciding what to do post-graduation. The Calibration question — "how confident are you and what would change your mind" — is doing more work in those conversations than any tool I've used in 12 years of teaching.

Used the resilience framing with my mother during a medical scare last month. "What's the recovery plan if this goes wrong" turns out to be a less frightening question than "what's the worst case" — same content, totally different emotional register. Hadn't expected the framework to be useful in a hospital waiting room.
