Does the framework hold up in fully-remote orgs, or does it need adapting?

Working with a remote-first client on rolling structured assessments into their existing hiring loop. Two specific gaps showing up: (1) the Resilience pillar relies on observable recovery behaviors, which are harder to surface in async/written interviews, and (2) Informed Navigation manifests differently when most decisions are made over written threads with multi-day latency. Has anyone here adapted the assessment design for remote-native contexts, or are you mostly back-porting in-person rubrics?

We back-ported and it didn't work. What did work: pre-interview written exercise with a deliberate ambiguity, then a live debrief focused on how they navigated the ambiguity. The artifact gives you the Calibration and Informed Navigation read; the debrief gives you the Resilience signal.

Async settings actually surface some signatures *better* than in-person, especially for neurodivergent candidates who under-perform under live time pressure. The Resilience read just has to come from a different artifact — git history, edit-and-revise patterns, post-mortems they've authored. The pillar isn't broken in remote, the observation strategy is.
